Instructions

  2. Gradually incorporate of water while continuously whisking to create a silky, lump-free batter. Allow the mixture to rest and develop flavor for 30 to 60 minutes at room temperature.
  3. Position the oven rack in the center and activate the broiler setting. Place a 10-inch (25 centimeters) cast-iron skillet inside the oven to heat for approximately 5 minutes, ensuring an even and intense cooking surface.
  4. Remove the hot skillet carefully using heat-resistant mitts and coat its interior with of olive oil, ensuring complete coverage.
  5. Pour half of the prepared batter into the sizzling skillet, tilting and rotating to distribute the mixture evenly across the surface.
  6. Slide the skillet under the broiler and cook for 5 to 15 minutes, watching closely until the edges transform into a crispy, golden-brown landscape.
